How to start a blog in bloggers in five minutes & earn money

Define blogging
In blogging we have so many interface used by bloggers, but the most used are bloggers & WordPress, these are the platforms you can use when starting a blog. Bloggers is solely owned and managed by Google.

For the purpose of this article we would be peaching our tent on bloggers specifically. However, let's begin the lesson.
To create an account or open a blog with bloggers, all you need to do is to sign up and it will bring you to an interface before you proceed. To have a blog you should already  have an existing Gmail account, but if you don't have you can create one quickly. Once your email is gotten, go to create blog

Site identity
This means giving the blog you just created a tag name e.g Best music & entertainment site in Nigeria, etc. For the website address you use for example your  or is a sub domain name, also  .com is a custom domain name & also an  address.
A domain name can be purchased from a domain provider/company like domainking, abollyhost, etc.
Afterwards input your site title
That your address depends on the one that is available.

Getting a theme for your blog
The theme you choose shows how your blog will appear or look like, the arrangement of the blog interface depends on the theme used.
In there are lots of free themes as you can see in the picture below.

We have comtempo, sohul, emporio, awesome ink, etc. From there you pick the one of your choice and then click create a blog.

The blog interface:
Title of the blog (backend of the blog you upload write ups, informations, videos for people/users to be able to access).

When you click on it, it shows you all the contents you have posted starting from day one of the blog.

Stats (Statistics):
Gives you overview of the views your blog attracts, it shows you your page reviews, for previous days, for last month and all time page review history. It also bring to your notice by indicating the numbers of followers in your blog

Posts under statistics shows you the post that is trending most with highest view

Traffic sources:
It gives the information on where your organic traffic are coming from. For instance, if it is coming from the US, Canada, UK, Nigeria. It will show you the referral URL, referral site & the search keywords that is leading people to visit your site and read articles on it...

Shows you the geographical locations of people visiting your blog where they are from, if they are from US, or Canada, or UK it will show you.

Comment section:
Gives you a every details you about comment people are dropping on your blogspot

This is where people post irrelevant & unnecessary things, like trash which are against the policies of the platform. It will be held as spam for the you to review. If you approve it, it goes to the surface of your blog

Monetization is the process of translating your blog activity into earnings. You should keep in mind that blogging isn’t all about making money but instead creating useful content that will attract readers and make them come back for more.

This is where you would want to monetize your blog using Google AdSense. Earning from a blog is one of the hardest stages in blogging as your blog has to meet the standard/policies of Google AdSense. Also, for you to be able to monetize through Google AdSense, you need to have a good or reasonable traffic on your blog for it to qualify for monetization.
However, Google AdSense is one of the best and easy approach to monetize your blog.

This is the place you create your different kind of pages in the blog like about us, privacy policy, disclaimer, contact us,etc. Below is how the page is

This is where you design your blog and beutify it very well with an amazing look and structures to your taste. Layout helps in arranging and saving of edits made on the site design.

This is used to locate or access the HTML codings of the blog then you edit or add codes to it and then save.
This requires a good programmer to work on this. Also, the theme is very important when adding codes to the header. It's also important in verifying search engine webmaster console, Yandex webmaster, Bing webmaster, etc

This is where you have access to so many features where you can set and adjust your blog to your taste. You can change your blog title through settings, if you still want your blog to be visible on search engines, you can still set it.
From your settings you can also add a third party custom URL which could be any domain e.g .com,, etc. This is not a free domain, once you get this, you link it up to your domain name at once and you add it. You can equally make your blog to become https:// which is more secured than http://.
I'm the settings you can add other authors, it requires you getting their email then add to your blog and send them the invitation. After they accept the request, you can decide to make anyone of your choice an admin or a normal author.

Post, comment and sharing
You can control number of posts visible in the interface of your blog and also control the comment section (who can comment)

This has to do with you, take for example you are not available or you are not with your laptop, you can quickly post from your Gmail and it will appear on your blog.

Search preference
This has to do with the meta tags, adding a notable and visible keyword that will be able to link people to your blog and also set your blog search console & also custom ads to text for monetization of your blog

Import content:
You can import posts that was backup in your previous blog through that tools

You can backup your contents there from all the posts you have made since day one.
