THE CRUSH SYNDROME

THE CRUSH SYNDROME
by henzpen

A crush is a feeling of love and admiration for someone, often someone you know you cannot have a relationships with.

Urban Dictionary defines a crush as "a burning desire to be with someone whom you
find very attractive and extremely special. Crushes make you have crazy emotions like feeling shy and uncontrollably giddy at the same time. You can't always choose who you  havea crush on, but you can choose how you react once you figure out that you have a crush on someone.

Realize that there are different kinds of
crushes. The term crush gets thrown around a lot. It can mean that you simply have a passing infatuation with someone or that you really like him or her.

The Friendly/Platonic Crush: (Sometimes called a "squish"): It is important to remember that not all strong feelings are romantic; some of them can be platonic as well. Letting yourself trust someone and become really close to someone, without necessarily having romantic feelings for them, is a really special thing.

The random crush: Crush on someone you don’t really know, is nothing to be ashamed about.Haven’t we all had a crush on a celebrity at one point or another? Haven’t we all run into a handsome or beautiful stranger at a coffee shop time and again, left unable to stop thinking about him or her? What is life if not a near exact replication of a romantic comedy, after all?.

The  fantasy crush: Having a crush on someone in a romantic way. If you fantasize about holding hands with the person or kissing that person or even marrying the person you probably have a romantic crush.

Having a crush can sometimes make people feels embarrassed and like they don't have anything to say.

•Do you always find your self bringing up that person in any of your conversation, then you are probably crushing on that person. A major sign is when your friends tells you that you talk about that specific person all the time. Note(to know if a girl really likes you, just ask her best friend) cos her friend tells her all her secret.

•When you feel like your friend sort of disappear when your crush walks up or you just can't look straight when you and your crush are coming in opposite direction.

•When you find your self thinking about that special person more than you think about anything else. You most likely have a crushed when you hang out with your friend but wish that you were hanging out with your crush.

•Do you tend to spend most of your time putting efforts into your appearance?
A major sign of having a crush on someone
is wanting to look nice around that person.

.Do you spend more time getting dressed in the morning? Do you spend an extra amount of time getting your hair or makeup just right, just in case you see your crusht thatday? If so, you must definitely have a crush.

Other crush include PASSING CRUSH: You just get attracted to other people. Have you ever have this feeling to just be with someone you saw on the street or at the market. You can't just help but just to admire and to crush on that person. Often times passing crushes are spikes by being attracted most often physically to someone. Even when you are in a relationship, you still might find that you feel attracted to someone other than your partner.

Lastly, crushing is a normal thing and you shouldn't blame your self for it but you can also regulate and control it. Life teaches you different experience and having a crush is one. Someday you will be telling your children about your crushes.
