Laycon Wins Big Brother Naija 2020 (bbnaija)

 

The winner of the #BBNaija Lockdown season is Laycon

Laycon has been announced as the winner of the 2020 Big Brother Naija Reality show, with Dorathy as the first runner-up.

Born Olamilekan Agbeleshe better known as Laycon has emerged winner of the 2020 BBNaija Lockdown edition.

Laycon young  beat 19 other housemates to be crowned the winner of this year ’s reality television show .

He led by 60 per cent votes followed by Dorathy with 21 . 85 per cent votes . However, Nengi had 15 . 03 per cent votes while Neo and Vee had 1 .94 per cent and 1 .18 per cent votes , respectively.

His victory was never a surprise to many because the  rapper  had been in the spotlight since his 1st day on the show, making him the first contestant in the show’s history to amass 1 million followers on Instagram.

Prior to this , he went into the house with about four thousand Instagram followers now boasts of a million followers and a verified account while still in the competition .

Before the announcement, he was asked about how he felt being among the top two finalists. The musician said he was surprised to make top 2. He said he just came to the house to promote his EP.


This explains the shock on his face the moment his name was called out as the winner of the show.

As the winner of the show, he goes home with N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors, and other gifts which make up his winning to N85m.

Laycon is now the 4th male housemate to win the reality show after Katung Aduwak, Michael Efe Ejeba and Miracle Igbokwe.
